Ben’s Cookies

I had been told several times by multiple people to try Ben’s Cookies. I initially doubted the quality of a cookie stand that was, more often than not, housed within a tube station.

But coworkers and fellow classmates gushed over the delicious dough, the amazing taste of a fresh cookie hot from the oven. I had to admit, the smell from the storefront as I exited the South Kensington stop teased me every time I passed. So I finally took the plunge and tried a Ben’s Cookie. The critical acclaim was accurate. The cookie was phenomenal and I am sad to report that I tried it during my last week in London.

The prices are very reasonable, around £1 and up for a cookie with a wide variety of flavors.

I kept it simple and went with chocolate chip. The melt-in-your-mouth consistency was enough to make me want to buy a half dozen. It’s a small place with not much room to stick around and munch on your dessert, so you might as well buy a few for the road. You won’t regret it.
