O2 Shepherd’s Bush

A small venue located in the heart of West Kensington is the O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire. Built in 1903 as a music hall, it still retains its original architecture inside. Although it has a capacity of just 2,000 people, the venue still manages to bring in big-name acts, so tickets often sell out fast.

Shepherd’s Bush is just one of several O2 Academy venues across London and the rest of the UK run by the Academy Music Group. Sister venues include the O2s in Birmingham, Bournemouth, Brixton, Islington, Newcastle and Oxford.

The O2 Shepherd’s Bush consists of a standing ground floor and two floors of balcony seats. Although all tickets are usually general admission, the doormen on each floor will indeed check your ticket to make sure you stay on the floor corresponding to your ticket. To avoid getting a third floor ticket, try to buy your tickets as soon as possible.
