London has some pretty amazing parks.
Regents, St. James, Hyde, and Green are a few that come to mind, but Holland Park gets my vote. Home to a family of peacocks who don’t mind showing off, an orangerie cafe fit for a cup of tea, Japanese gardens donated by the Chamber of Commerce of Kyoto in 1991, footbridges over creeks, an assortment of vibrant flowers and groomed hedges, and much more, this little gem is often overshadowed by its more well known cousins.
That is exactly what makes this place so special. It’s the ideal place for a picnic with friends, a jog through the woods, or a reflective stroll. The first word that came to mind my first time here on a sunny day was ‘magic.’
