Kew Gardens might not seem like an exciting London adventure, but it’s totally worth the 11 pounds. This garden stretches across almost 300 acres of the lovely borough of Richmond, and it’s GORGEOUS. Even in the dead of winter it was breathtaking. There are a ton of different places to explore once inside the garden gates. The Temperate House, the Pagoda, and the Alpine House are all separate parts of the enormous grounds. The amount of picture-taking opportunities are endless. Be prepared to walk quite a bit because you’ll want to see everything. While you’re there, you should stop in at the Orangery, a greenhouse-turned-restaurant, for afternoon tea. Then make your way to Kew Palace. Seeing the Kew Gardens is an excellent way to spend a lovely Friday afternoon in London. I highly recommend a visit.
