Grocery Shopping

Since foods in the UK are pesticide and preservative free, they don’t last very long.

Expect to become a “regular” at your local Tesco or Sainsbury since you’ll have to grocery shop almost every day, or at least two times a week, for fresh food.

Both Tesco and Sainsbury open at around 7 a.m. and close at 11 p.m. Your flat will probably be within walking distance of one of the two stores, or maybe both!

Other popular grocery stores include: Whole Foods, Waitrose and Mark & Spencer (M&S)

But if you’re looking to save pounds, Tesco, Sainsbury or a food market are your most affordable options.
